Impact Of This Movie

"Attack of the Clones" deepened the prequel trilogy’s exploration of the Star Wars galaxy with a blend of intrigue and sweeping spectacle. Building on the foundation laid by "The Phantom Menace," this film delves into Heavy political machinations that a young me couldn't understand and the growing shadows of the Clone Wars. The story expands the personal and political stakes, as Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala’s romance unfolds against a backdrop of brewing conflict. It also shows Anakin’s drastic change into a whiny dick (Enter “Not just the men… but the women and children”) The film’s ambitious scope is highlighted by its impressive action sequences, from the dazzling battles on Geonosis to the dramatic conflict between Jedi and droid armies. While it faced mixed reviews for its dialogue and pacing, "Attack of the Clones" is pivotal for its world-building and character development, setting the stage for the dark turns that follow. It’s a crucial installment that broadens the saga’s narrative complexity and deepens the intrigue surrounding the galaxy’s fate. Even though this movie is very much not liked I appreciated a lot of its witty humor, Obi Wan’s Mullet and everything in between
